Job Overview

Snug Home Insulations successfully completed the installation of External Wall Insulation (EWI) for 18 occupied properties. The project aimed to enhance thermal efficiency, improve property aesthetics, and reduce heating costs for residents. Special considerations were taken to accommodate vulnerable elderly residents and children, ensuring minimal disruption throughout the works. 

Scope of Works 

Our comprehensive retrofit services for this project included: 
✅ Detailed Technical Surveys – Conducted thorough pre-installation assessments to determine optimal insulation solutions. 
✅ Engagement with Suppliers – Worked closely with suppliers to build property-specific specifications. 
✅ Enabling Works – Preparing the properties for installation to ensure structural integrity and project efficiency, including organising scaffolding and extending any necessary pipework and guttering to suit the new EWI system. 
✅ Roofline Extensions – Extending eaves and rooflines to integrate seamlessly with the new insulation system. 
✅ External Wall Insulation (EWI) System – Enhancing thermal performance, reducing heat loss, and improving external appearance. 
✅ Resident Communication & Liaison – Dedicated liaison officers to coordinate schedules and provide continuous updates to residents. 
✅ Comprehensive Handover Packs – Provided the client with detailed documentation per property upon completion to facilitate funding submissions.
